우산챙겨! (Grab Your Umbrella!)
Privacy Policy
우산챙겨! keeps only what it needs to send you a rain alert. There is no account and no analytics. To check the forecast at your alert time, the app's server holds your approximate location (rounded to about 1 km), your alert settings and a push token. Deleting your data in the app removes it from the server immediately.
1. What is stored on the server, and why
Alerts arrive at a time you choose even when the app is closed, so a small server (run on Cloudflare) checks the forecast for you and sends the notification. It stores:

The app has no sign-up. The server does not know your name, email address or phone number, and it does not keep your IP address.
2. Weather data and place names
- Forecasts come from Apple WeatherKit. The server asks for the forecast of an area about 10 km across, not of your exact position, and without anything that identifies you. The app on your device also asks WeatherKit for the forecast it shows on screen.
- Your town's name and the city search are provided on your device by Apple Maps.
- These requests are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.
3. Location permission
The app asks for location only while you are using it, and at about 1 km accuracy. It never tracks your location in the background. If you would rather not share location, choose a city yourself in Settings ▸ Location.
4. On your device
Your settings and the latest forecast are also kept on your device, in a container shared with the home-screen widgets so they can show today's weather.
5. What the app never accesses
The app does not request or use your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health data, calendar or advertising identifier. It contains no analytics or advertising SDK, does not track you across apps or websites, and shows no ads.
6. Sharing
Your data is not sold, rented or shared. It is processed only by the service providers that run the app: Cloudflare (server and database hosting) and Apple (push notifications, WeatherKit and Maps). Cloudflare may keep short-lived technical logs to operate and secure the service.
7. How long it is kept, and deleting it
- Settings ▸ Delete all my data in the app deletes your record from the server immediately and clears the data on your device.
- Daily records are deleted automatically after 7 days.
- If you delete the app, Apple stops accepting its push token; the server then marks the record inactive and deletes it after 30 days.
- You can also ask for deletion by email. Please include the time you last used the app, since the server has nothing else that identifies you.
8. Children
The app is for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version is posted at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.

개인정보 처리방침
우산챙겨!는 비 소식을 알려드리는 데 필요한 정보만 보관합니다. 회원가입도, 분석 도구도 없습니다. 정해진 시각에 예보를 확인하기 위해 서버에 대략적인 위치(약 1km 단위), 알림 설정, 푸시 토큰을 보관하며, 앱에서 데이터를 삭제하면 서버에서도 즉시 삭제됩니다.
제1조 처리하는 개인정보 항목과 목적
앱을 닫아 두어도 정해진 시각에 알림이 오도록, 서버(Cloudflare에서 운영)가 대신 예보를 확인하고 알림을 보냅니다. 서버에 보관하는 항목은 다음과 같습니다.

회원가입이 없으며, 서버는 이용자의 이름·이메일·전화번호를 알지 못하고 IP 주소를 보관하지 않습니다.
제2조 날씨 정보와 지역 이름
- 예보는 Apple WeatherKit에서 가져옵니다. 서버는 정확한 위치가 아닌 약 10km 크기 지역의 예보를, 이용자를 식별할 수 있는 정보 없이 요청합니다. 화면에 보이는 예보는 기기의 앱이 WeatherKit에 직접 요청합니다.
- 지역 이름 표시와 도시 검색은 기기에서 Apple 지도가 처리합니다.
- 이 요청들에는 Apple 개인정보 처리방침이 적용됩니다.
제3조 위치 권한
앱은 앱을 사용하는 동안에만, 약 1km 정확도로 위치를 요청합니다. 백그라운드에서 위치를 추적하지 않습니다. 위치 공유를 원하지 않으면 설정 ▸ 위치에서 도시를 직접 지정할 수 있습니다.
제4조 기기에 저장되는 정보
설정과 최근 예보는 기기에도 저장되며, 홈 화면 위젯이 오늘 날씨를 보여줄 수 있도록 위젯과 함께 쓰는 기기 내 저장소에 보관됩니다.
제5조 접근하지 않는 정보
연락처, 사진, 카메라, 마이크, 건강 데이터, 캘린더, 광고식별자를 요청하거나 사용하지 않습니다. 분석·광고 SDK가 없으며, 앱이나 웹사이트를 넘나드는 추적을 하지 않고 광고를 표시하지 않습니다.
제6조 제3자 제공과 처리 위탁
개인정보를 판매·대여하거나 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다. 서비스 운영을 위해 다음 업체가 정보를 처리합니다.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — 서버 및 데이터베이스 운영. 서비스 운영과 보안을 위한 기술 로그를 짧은 기간 보관할 수 있습니다.
- Apple Inc. — 푸시 알림 전달, WeatherKit 예보, 지도(지역 이름·도시 검색)
제7조 보관 기간과 파기
- 앱의 설정 ▸ 내 데이터 모두 삭제를 누르면 서버의 기록이 즉시 삭제되고 기기의 데이터도 지워집니다.
- 하루 기록은 7일이 지나면 자동으로 삭제됩니다.
- 앱을 삭제하면 Apple이 해당 푸시 토큰을 더 이상 받지 않으며, 서버는 그 기록을 비활성으로 표시한 뒤 30일 후 삭제합니다.
- 이메일로 삭제를 요청할 수도 있습니다. 서버에는 이용자를 식별할 다른 정보가 없으므로 마지막으로 앱을 사용한 시기를 함께 알려주세요.
제8조 아동
우산챙겨!는 전체 이용가 앱이며, 아동의 정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.
